August 6, Gibson Tennessee at the Municipal Auditorium:

Today's action was called by Senior Announcer Jimmy Valentine who was joined by an injured Soultaker. Our referee was Danny Roberson
The show was built around who the mystery opponent is that the Commissioner is bringing in to face 'Tuffguy' Joey Bravo. Bravo is from the North and has been trying to takeover the Southern Promotion for some time now. The opener saw Tommy Redneck retain his Intercontinental Championship in a 3 way dance against The Extreme Machine and Dynamite Kid. Next, we saw Southern Destruction beat Southern Pride and proceed to try to burn their rebel flag. Tommy Redneck and Eclipse made the save and we saw the original Southern Pride reunited! Mean Mark Manson 'The Nightmare From The East Coast' made his MSW debut next. Manson & The Commissioner have been close friends for 6 years and he's coming in to help in the battle with Joey Bravo. His opponent today was JR Rich w/The Crown Prince. The bell rang, they locked up, JR stepped back & went down - Manson covered for the 1-2-3 and totally swerved Commissioner Anthony! Manson, Prince & Rich all celebrated in the ring, calling Anthony a fool so Commish called out Eclipse & told him to take care of Manson in an added match that went to a no contest. Next we saw Danny B. Good return to Mid-South Wrestling as he became the NEW Light-Heavyweight Champion in another 3 way dance, defeating Kevin White (champion) and Mr. Showtime. Coach BT & The Riot Squad came out & took White out of the match early injuring his shoulder. Coach BT then led his Riot Squad team out to face Total Kaos which saw Precious Paul of the RS injure TK's Kade's shoulder the same way he did White's earlier, with a modified version of a short armed scissors after they lost to Kade & Viper. The time was now for the mystery opponent to be revealed. Joey Bravo's music hit, and The Crown Prince came out with 'Attitude' and went to the interview desk & proceeded to explain that Bravo called him and that he is experiencing car troubles, so there would be NO match. Commissioner Michael Anthony told Prince that he wasn't the matchmaker & he's not going to tell him what matches are and aren't going to happen. Anthony then ordered JR Rich to come out & face Bravo's mystery opponent with the stipulation that if Rich loses, Bravo's suspended for 6 months! The mystery opponent's music played, and the fans were way into this. Rich & Prince watched the dressing room door, but in through the front door of the auditorium came Clarence Clippenback 'The Official Sex Symbol Of The New Millenium'! Clarence ran in the ring & gutted JR with his special cane. CC then told everyone that he was NOT the mystery opponent and handed senior announcer Jimmy Valentine a cd to play. The music pla! yed and in through the same front door came BIG HOSS WILLIAMS! He made a short spill about loving Mid-South Wrestling because that's where he got his start 9 years ago, then he proceeded to take JR Rich to wrestling school and easily won the match. The main event saw Woman's champion Dakota & Tommy Redneck retain the World Tag Titles by defeating The New Texas Outlaws in one of the most exciting tag team matches there has ever been in a long time. At one point, Dakota picked up Ricky Murdoch with one arm & walked around the ring until SHE decided where to plant him!
